In 1993, after receiving a degree in Physics from UCSB and working for an aerospace contractor for several years Rody decided to follow a longtime
dream and pursue a career in Renewable Energy Technologies. Pure Power Solutions was born. The grid tied industry did not yet exist and for the first four years of business Rody not only lived completely off grid but was gaining a vast experience in the rapidly evolving off-grid market. Today, the utility interconnected market has grown up along with the business that Rody started. Pure Power Solutions has now installed off-grid systems of all shapes and sizes for over ten years as well as
over a million watts of grid connected solar. Off-grid power is a real specialty and doing it right the first time and every time is still Rody’s passion and forte.
